Glad you made thus top luaus for 2025 post! I’m looking for an experience that really capture the culture of Maui. These updates are helpful, and I’m close to narrowing it down to either Grand Wailea or Andaz (we’re staying in Wailea.)

In reply to Shantell. They're both great luaus. I guess it depends on what's important to you. If price is an issue, Sheraton will be less expensive. If you want the most popular luau on Maui, do the Old Lahaina Luau (though it may be sold out.) For fire dancing, do the Sheraton Luau. Old Lahaina doesn't have fire dancing.

Hi! Trying to decide between the Sheraton Luau and the Old Lahaina. Going in May and staying at the Sheraton. It looks like the Old Lahaina is only 8 min away so distance is not an issue.

I went to the Royal Lahaina Luau and really enjoyed it. My wife loved the dancing, and I think in another life she would be a pro. The food was good and the music pretty special. I’d consider staying at the Royal Lahaina Resort next time. Seems like a cool spot with good location. We usually get a condo, but this is nice.

Thank you so much for this post. Super helpful. We are trying to decide between Myths of Maui (royal lah) and drums of the pacific (Hyatt). OLL is sold out (I am getting on wait list). We went to OLL for honeymoon and loved it. We are coming back with two grandparents, and 3 kids (12, 6, and 5). Which one would you choose? We are staying at the Sands of kahana so the show needs to be within 30 minutes. We want something fun, good food and good drinks and beautiful atmosphere, and easy to see from table. Plus if they have flower leis!

In reply to Judy. It might be worth renting a wheelchair, as most luaus require a distance to get to them. I think the Royal Lahaina Luau would be the shortest walk from dropping her off in front.
