We splurged on the private Oahu helicopter tour and it was 100% a pinch me hour. Having it be just our group and the the pilot made it feel way more exclusive, and everyone actually got a window seat. We did doors off (no extra charge) and wow… insane views, but also LOUD and windy, hold onto your phone like your life depends on it (they give you holders that attach to you.) Flying over Waikiki and Diamond Head was cool, but the real “holy crap” moment was Jurassic Valley + Sacred Falls, then seeing the North Shore and Pearl Harbor from above. A

Pricey but 100% worth it. Seeing the island from above was mindblowing, especially the cliffs and the valley’s. We surprised our teenage son with this and he loved it. That says a lot.

HOLY MOLY! Doing a heli of Oahu from above has required a change of my shorts. Beaches, mountains, and buildings all in one session blew me away. It’s hard to comprehend how much I saw.

Everything is getting too expensive. Yes, we get that fuel costs a lot for a helicopter, and you want an experienced pilot, but I wish we lived in 1980 again. My only complaint. The rest was fun and great views.

The tour gives you some of the best views you’ll ever see in Oahu, from the reefs to the cliffs. Our pilot was great, pointing out landmarks and giving us plenty of time for photos. My only gripe is the price—it’s pretty steep, but the experience itself is fantastic.

The views were stunning: lush rainforests, sparkling waterfalls, and golden sand beaches all spread out beneath us. Our pilot was knew a lot about the islands, pointing out specific landmarks and narrating stories about the history and culture of each region. He made a point to show us multiple locations perfect forphotographic opportunities and waited till we got it. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

This was my first time up in a helicopter. WOW! I had no idea how much of Oahu was green and lush. We’ve been in Waikiki for a week and didn’t explore. Tomorrow we’re heading out to rent a car and see some of these areas we didn’t know existed. Thanks!
