The Myths of Maui Luau was an epic evening. The fire dance was particularly epic. I wish they had luaus at every vacation destination. We’ll go to this one or try a different one if we get back to Hawaii.

We tried to change our night because of potential rain but that 72-hour cancellation policy is real. Luckily the weather cleared up and we had the great evening. Thank you, perfect way to end our Maui vacation!

Just got back from the Royal Lahaina Luau and had such a fun night! Splurged on VIP seating (worth it!) and got there right at 6:15 to snag a front-row table. Pro tip: even though the drinks are included, their Mai Tais are pretty weak – stick to beer or wine in my opinion. The fire dancer was absolutely incredible though, and being so close to the stage made it even more exciting!

This luau was the perfect mix of great food, hula glory, and beautiful oceanside views. The dancers were amazing, and the firedancing left us in awe. The buffet had a great variety, and the staff were nice. It was a great time!

Every luau I’ve been to over the last 10+ years I was the last one to get called up to the buffet. Sucks. Everything was good, but I just once want to be first!

Our Luau was enjoyable beyond just the meal. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for good food and learning about Hawaii’s vast history and culture through song and dance.

We recently attended the Royal Lahaina Luau. We arrived for the show and it started to rain pretty hard so they handed out ponchos. We felt that since we had paid a lot for the dinner and show we didn’t want to sit in the rain. We asked if we could reschedule for a different night and they allowed it. We enjoyed ourselves but the food wasn’t very good. The show was excellent and the mc was very funny and kept the show going. We didn’t like that we were all crammed into long tables coming straight out from the stage and had to look left or right for the whole show as we couldn’t look directly at the stage. The staff weren’t very friendly or helpful and it really felt like we were being herded. Once we were seated there was very little interaction between the staff and guests. Overall enjoyable but not our first choice for luau’s.
