We were told it is the best in Hawaii. The atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks were good. Upon arrival we were all given beautiful flower lei’s. The staff were very friendly and courteous and explained the various stations set up around for us to view and have our photos taken. When we purchased the tickets we were assigned seats and we were seated in a table with 6 others. All strangers to us but we had a wonderful time getting to know each other and enjoying the show. We were assigned a server for the night and he was very funny, entertaining and helpful providing info and direction. He led us to the buffet area when it was time to eat, ensured we had everything we needed and attended to all our needs throughout the night! It was a fun evening and we had a wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable the photos were to purchase at the end of the evening. There were also some local items to purchase if people were interested. We recommend this luau to anyone going to Maui, you are treated as a special guest and valued, almost like you are being invited into a private home to share a Hawaiian experience. The only thing to be aware of is that they don’t do fire dancing, which was disappointing. If you’re ok with missing that, it’s worth it. Though, I think we’ll try a different one next year with fire dancing. Aloha!

I know they’re trying to keep it authentic to Hawaii, and I think the fire dancers come from Samoa, but it’s always the highlight of the luaus we’ve been to. Food was great, show was fun. You think when everything opens up again, they’ll have fire dancing?

It was entertaining but also educational , and the food was excellent! The other Luau I attended was at the Sheraton and I enjoyed it also but the dining experience & the food was not as good as Old Lahaina Luau. Absolutely loved the torch lighting cliff dive! Thank you to both luau’s for allowing me to learn about your history and culture !

Don’t get me wrong, they’re all a lot of fun, but there’s something about the openness of the other 2 that I like. You can walk around and check things out without a million people all around (though there are still a lot of people. I also liked the show at the Grand the best cause of the music. Sheraton had great food and was located where I usually stay.
