The Grand Wailea is open to outside guests looking to eat or drink at the restaurants, but the pool is for Grand guests only. You should be fine to walk around and explore. Very different from the kaanapali Beach Hotel.

My wife and I go to Maui every year and we are looking at different options.

Hotel covered up a covid death, refused to tell guests that somebody died of covid in an adjacent room.

We double checked. Around 50 Hoolei units are managed by Waldorf Astoria via the Grand Wailea rental program. That’s 50ish out of the 120 villas. Can you share anything in this article that might be inaccurate? We appreciate productive comments where we can make the material better. Mahalo!
